At the monthly CRVC meeting, we briefly discussed traveling to Grand Coulee for the three-day Northwest Hiking Weekend event sponsored by Four Plus Foolhardy Folk April 24-26. www.fourplushikers.org This weekend follows the Phoenix Festival in Victoria, Canada.
There is a group that is planning on staying in Victoria, doing area YREs after the Phoenix Festival, until Wednesday, April 22nd. They are then traveling by ferry from Victoria to Tsawassen (Vancouver, BC), driving through Canada and then south to Omak, WA, to stay Wednesday night (Rodeway Inn), and going on to Grand Coulee Thursday, staying at the Grand Coulee Center Lodge until Sunday.
If you are attending the Phoenix Festival, you are more than welcome to join the caravan to Grand Coulee. If not attending the event in Victoria, then you may want to join us for a fun weekend in Grand Coulee. The more the merrier!
