From Sam Korff: It’s official – Nancy Wittenberg has been elected to replace me as Regional Director. I’m sure you will work very well with her as you have with me. She brings a wealth of experience to the task – club leader, state association officer (First Vice President of ESVA), and maintains the ESVA website. I believe she will represent Northwest Region very well.

Hi CRVC Members, The purpose of this email is to remind you that it is time again to pay your CRVC membership dues. I encourage you to renew your membership and remain a part of this active walking club with members who enjoy walking and having fun. I have attached a membership application/renewal form for you to complete with your current information and to send with your dues to continue your membership. The address to send your dues is located at the top of the attached form. There are some exciting plans for this year and for the more distant future and we hope you will enjoy participating in some of them with us. In 2013, we are planning some group club trips to places like Victoria B.C., the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon, and to Utah. It's not too late if you would like to join us for any of these trips. Just contact me and I will ask a club member responsible for the trip to contact you with the specifics. The first trip, to Victoria B.C. has the group leaving on April 17th and returning home either April 22nd or 23rd. We have walks planned in Duncan, the city of Totems; in Chemainus, the City of Murals; and of course in Victoria for their 3 day festival. The second trip is to the Rogue Valley Walking event to be held May 17th through May 19th, out of Shady Cove, in Southern Oregon. There is a featured walk each day, with a 2nd walk available on Saturday as well as numerous everyday YRE's in the general area. The third group trip will be to Utah for a hiking adventure in places like Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Arches National Park and many other beautiful spots. The tentative dates are from September 9 through September 21, 2013. You can either bring the renewal form and your dues to our next meeting on Monday, March 11th or send the completed renewal form and your dues via mail by March 29, 2013. If you have any questions, please email or call me. Sharon K, Membership Chair
