From: Annette S <xxx> Subject: YREs from Sherwood Merrywalkers Date: October 25, 2015 at 2:39:43 PM PDT To: Ed H <xxx> Hi Ed ~ On behalf of the members of Columbia River Volkssport Club (“CRVC”), I accept, with appreciation to Sherwood Merrywalkers, the two YREs designated for CRVC as a result of the drawing on October 19th. These walks are Browns Ferry Park in Tualatin, YRE 0798, and Historic Willamette in West Linn, YRE 2041. We are sorry to see the Sherwood Merrywalkers become an inactive club and will do our best to be sure these walks are kept current and inviting. Well I thought I better work on getting these pictures sent out to all of us, prior to letting dust settle on the camera. This was a Nice Walk we did this past Sunday (AUGUST 03, 2014) and those of us there thought we did rather well climbing up to the Top to See the Fantastic View, WOW we were up there - I think Dick said it was 1796 foot elevation, if I'm incorrect - let me know!! This might take awhile to get the pictures I have chosen to send out - 13 out of 46, so All of You got Real Lucky and don't have to deal with all 46 of them!! Have a Nice Remaining Week - Hope to See You Tomorrow at the Wednesday Group Walk, doing "The Grotto" walking event. Knowing some of you might not make it. ed Photos: Ed H. |
